I want some toys
Please tell me that I am not the only one who goes shopping to buy gifts and sees stuff they want...almost ALL the time?? I found this cute little shop with "animated" paper models and anatomical model animals. Here are a few things I am eyeballing:

Happy Holidays to you Kiva, I just spent my last dollars and bought you a whole catalog of the most beautiful and fun paper toys. You and all your friends can download as many of them as you want.ReplyDelete
Karin, the most generous of gift givers.
WHAT?????? KARIN....WHAT????? I went to the link and thought: oh, that Karen, she's making me drool by showing me even MORE paper toys! But these are....downloadable!?? Karin, I am speechless...thank you SO MUCH!! Ok, I'll stop screaming now. But WOW!!!!!I really do feel like it's Christmas morning already :-D!!!ReplyDelete
Karin, are these yours?? Where did you find them?? The sumo wrestlers....I am going to have to get my mom to put these together for me, but I am so excited, it's ridiculous!ReplyDelete
BOX FISH AQUARIUM!!! I need a paper bag because I'm hyperventilating. Ok, I am going to shut up now and continue my manic downloading...
If you are interested in that kind of stuff here are a TON of free ones. No money required! You need to print them but it is worth it. Assembly required:ReplyDelete
P.S. I noticed that you signed up for the pottery blog but not the mini blog? I update the mini one more mainly because the pottery part is mainly on hold (no kiln.) :(
BETTY! They're in Japanese! And it bums me out because there is a Sushi bar :-(. I tried downloading and it said that I'm missing Japanese fonts. But yes, I'm totally psyched...as long as I'm not the one putting them together, haha!! Love them! I love toys. Period.ReplyDelete
Did I not sign up for your mini blog?? I thought I did! Ok, I'm going to do that right now :-D.
Haha!! Betty, I just saw your post: Premo or Kato :-D. You know my personal preference. I must have really strong, well-developed fingers from years of strenuous kneading. Remember, there is always Fimo Mix Quick if you're having a difficult time. All you need is a little. I've tried Cernit, too. It's reeeeaaaalyl soft :-(.
I know what you mean! And I am thinking & scolding 'selfish, selfish human being!'... to no avail.ReplyDelete
Try this one too http://www.thetoymaker.com
Kiva, methinks you may have been in the sun a tad too long!! So, when will we see some of these masterpieces you (Mom) have created?ReplyDelete
Jackie tried some Origami ... it is still in the development stage.
Do you have a food processor? I don't think I can handle Fimo quick mix for long periods of time.ReplyDelete
Lize, how cool! This is better than paper dolls :-D!! Thank you!ReplyDelete
Hey, I am glad I'm not alone. It happens to me all the time and I feel like such a greedy, selfish ogre :-/. I'm very generous, but that generosity also extends to myself, lol!!
HAHA!!!! Tom, I need to chill out! I showed the paper toys to my mom and she gave me a dirty look :-/. I would PAY her to make them for me, too!! I'll have to work on it.ReplyDelete
Tom, origami is cool too but I can't do it. I used to love going into shops and looking at all the papers and books and stuff, but it's useless! If it's not clay, I just don't get it!
Hey Betty! I don't use a food processor- do you mean for kneading? No, I use my brute strength, lol!!! I have skinny, spindly arms but I could probably crush a brick with my hands ;-). Actually, some people really can't use Kato because it can be TOO firm for them. You could try mixing it with fimo, which I often do. Do you use Premo or Fimo?ReplyDelete

Espero que le guste!
Yes Kiva must be a masochist with all that hand kneading when there are wonderful power tools completely willing (for a fee) to sacrifice their lives for her. I have a whole army of mercenary power tools in my employee.ReplyDelete
HAHA!! Karin, it's true- I am a bit of a masochist ;-). And man, do you love your tools and machines! YOU are hardcore. But hey, I LOVE my Dremel and I do use that quite a bit. But when it comes to the kneading, I need to see what color I'm getting as I blend it, so it would drive my nuts to keep having to feed it into a pasta machine or something. Ok, I admit, I also don't relish the thought of having to clean it all the time....that's another reason, lol!!!ReplyDelete
