  6. LOL! Synnove, I love the one on ebay with all the accessories- the wigs and slippers. But no clothing :-/? I guess it's not really necessary with that bod!

  7. Yep Dale, I concur, that price is NUTS!! You can buy a car! Her dolls are gorgeous, though. I'm not totally wild about the male dolls (they are a bit fem, but they're probably supposed to be androgynous) but the female ones are really exquisite. I prefer clay dolls because I think they have way more character, but these are SO pretty.

  9. Holy Cow is right! The winner of that auction wanted it REALLY bad because the bid was placed days before the auction ended...when it was only around $6000 or so... Who knows what the highest bid would have been if ttime hadn't run out.

I find the dolls interesting and the faces quite beautiful but the ball joint mechanism is wierd to see on a nude doll...I prefer them clothed. And for an artist who takes so much time sewing only the finest beads and crystals on the costumes, I was surprised to read the the fabric is polyester....

But she is a talented young lady and has carved out a niche for herself, that's for sure. Go ahead and make her something, Kiva...your stuff is great!

The rest of her dolls are amazing as well. And what fantastic costumes she makes!
    Thanks for the link Kiva.

  11. Tabs, I would want one with some clothing as well, to be honest. A nice wardrobe of stuff I can change around would be sweet ;-). I have some old "Gene" dolls- you know, the real Hollywood looking ones that came with accessories and props and lots of clothing? They are fairly large, so they've been in storage for years.

Josje, you are very welcome!! It's always interesting to see what other artists are doing, isn't it? And this chick is making some serious bank :-O!!
