Mice shooting marbles

I used to see the little boys shooting marbles in the dirt when I was in grade school and was always intrigued (this was when I wasn't playing kickball with them, my absolute favorite). Not so much by the actual game, but by the gorgeous glass marbles in their stashes. I had to buy my own. That is, when I wasn't buying Japanese stickers to fill up my albums and trade them during recess. I have my own stash of miniature glass marbles now, so I made two mice in a "dirt box" playing the game....whatever it is!

  4. I really love this! I remember when I was visiting Guatemala one winter and fell in love with the marbles the little boys played with. My mother bought me a bag but I never figured out how to play. I don't think I wanted to play... I just wanted the marbles for their beauty.

  6. Yah I just started my studies back up. Got Anthropology, Statistics, and Biology! I'm also moving into a new house next door! So yah, but hopefully this new house will be bigger and allow me to work on my dollhouse which has been abandoned in my garage behind a stack of boxes and junk.

Those marbles are amazing! How is it even possible to make marbles so beautiful as those!?
