Getting over feeling like shit....

but I kept making stuff through the worst of it. I HAD too!!! When I get commissions, I can't rest...I have to attack it until it's done. But I sometimes think that miniature making keeps me sane. Before this, I would sometimes bounce off the walls. This is a way to channel all that angst, restlessness, and boredom. I'm sure many of you feel the same way, to varying degrees. My output has been somewhat hampered by my illness, but now I feel like I need to make up for lost time!!

Ok, why can I not put this text above the pics?? What harpooned!??

  1. Hey Kiddo ... Missed You !!! Welcome back to the land of the living ... sort of!!

Don't know what you did with the post, but it is repeated as well.

Your little veggie people crack me up. Now, Every time I look to see how my garden is coming along, I expect to see one of those wee puppies looking up at me and laughing it's wee butt off!!

    Big Hugs ...

  3. You have such amazing energy, Kiva, like lightning - it's good that you have the thread of your work to keep you grounded!! Great for us too, we get to see all those fabulous minis pouring from your workdesk!! Thankyou for being you!!

The mushrooms and apples are absolutely perfect in their imperfection - does that make sense?

  6. I'm so glad you're feeling better! I think making anything is a great outlet for frustration and angst -- and to be able to make such perfectly imperfect things (as Glenda said) -- it must be very satisfying.

I've been having the same problem with images and text in blogger lately -- it's driving me crazy, too!

Hope you continue to feel better :)

  8. Hey babe! Didn't know you were ill. :( Nothing serious I hope?

I hate the new blogger image thingy now. You can no longer size it the way you want "compose mode" does not read or format like the preview. Unless you know html well, it is harder to edit. Super irritating. Not your food though. You are lucky to be able to channel your angst into something so wondrous like your art.
