Heirloom Tomato mountain
I've made more tomatoes today than I have in my entire life...or, at least, in one sitting. The platters are made by my good buddy, woodturner Thomas Saunders. The platter on the left is for a customer, and the one on the right I am listing.
Your tomatoes are superb, Kiva!! And Tom's woodwork is fabulous - I just got two of his pieces, a platter and a bowl in birdseye maple, and I can't put them down - they're so tactile!
Heirloom tomatoes? Wow.These tomatoes are beautiful, almost a pity biting into them. They should just be frozen in time as still life like what you are doing, Kiva :). Great job.
Your art is just amazing!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful...i've never seen heirloom tomatoes, all we get here are the 'basic' ones...dang they look so tasty here :P
