Ron Muech, hyper realist sculptor
I have two words: holy sh*t!!!!! Check out this artist's sculptures (many of them are gigantic!). You can find more of his work by just googling his name.
I saw some of his sculptures just a few weeks ago in the North-East of England - the 'Spooning Couple' above was in that show as well! It was truly AMAZING! Even if you go really close up you expect the people to move suddenly. !
Wonderful work -- I love the fact that it's not "airbrushed" reality. (Sometimes I think that we, as a culture in the West, have forgotten what reality actually looks like :)
Holy sh*t is right! I've seen pictures of his work before, it's incredible. I can't get over how realistic it is. Hmmmmm, so then I guess you are a hyper-realist miniaturist Kiva!
Really big some of them:) But some are hmmm not pretty?:D

I love his work. O boy, do you think some people think "he's just a model maker" (see last line in the article) because he was a "model maker"?
