Thank you, Jeanette :-D!! I think I'm obsessed with them because they are just so bizarre looking, but cute! I wear octopus jewelry and tank tops, too.
Kiva... I just LOVE Zombies!!!!! Your Zombie squid are wonderful!!!!!Have a great creative day!Bugs & hissespatty
they don't look zombie-ish to me....they look realistic!nice work! i'm hungry now...*goes off to look for dinner*
Thanks Patty and Cindy!! I didn't start out wanting to make them zombies but that is exactly what came to mind after seeing them stare back at me with those eyes, lol!!Hmmm....Cindy, I wouldn't mind some calamari right about now.
I started laughing when I saw the title of this post on my dashboard and your "Be afraid".. Ok, I am very afraid :). Not a fan of squid for food cos yes, they look like they are dying to cause havoc in your intestines right after you swallow them. Never understood how people can suck the eyeball out of the squids' eyes..or am I getting them mixed up with other eyes..hmm.Great job as usual, Kiva!
Only I can say is: WOW!!! You have done a fantastic job. Hugs,Karin
Thank you sSusan and Karin!! Susan, I've never heard about sucking eyeballs out of squid, but I don't doubt it! My grandpa used to deep fry fish that he caught and I'd pop the crunchy eyeballs in my mouth...but they were SO crunchy that it wasn't eyeball like at all :-D.
