A Turkey, before it's too late!

I made a turkey for Thanksgiving. Mom brought home this flyer/catalog thing from Sam's Club and told me to check out the pics of holiday food, so I zeroed in on the turkey, which was garnished with orange slices and cranberries. I thought: if I'm not going to make all the sides, I'd better dress up this platter pretty heavily! I also made him pretty damned fat!

  12. Awwww, thanks buddies!!! I love making MEAT!!!! This is probably the closest I'm getting to making something for Thanksgiving, apart from the ham. I'm a wee bit late :-O!!

Emma, I gotta tell ya, I have very fond memories of bringing back a roast chicken and lobster from Fauchon (in Paris) to our hotel room. It was not hot, as there was no way to reheat them in our room, but it was some of and THE best roasted chicken and lobster I've ever eaten, hands down ;-).
