Bread

I don't make alot of bread, but it's kind of like cheese- when I start doing it, I keep going....and going...and going. I made these, and something kind of freaky, which I'm not so sure about.

  3. Thank you Sara and Linda!! Linda, for you, the afficionado on all fine things French, I am very pleased ;-)!!

Sara, I made a butt-ugly basket of head bread. As in, heads of bread. Head-shaped bread. Not the googly-eyed food I sometimes make, but ugly heads of bread. I made it last night while I was half delerious from the flu, and it kinda shows :-/. But Sara, you have only just begun!! What with the hardcore nurse training and your attention diverted to your studies, it is not unusual to feel frustrated, trust me! That goes with the territory ;-). Just keep at it. Do it every spare chance you get. And remember, you can ask me anything!

  6. LOL!!!! Jocelyn, you crack me up :-D!!! But wait tuntil you see the sheer hideosity of that head bread. I almost don't want to post it :-(.

    Gracias, Teresa!!

Kim, you are so sweet! I will post it, just so you can see how ugly it is. I googled bread and found a pic of some head bread, so that is what kind of inspired me. Here's the pic I found:

I don't think I could bring myself to butter up a chunk of that and pop it into my mouth, as much as I love bread!
