Asian Pears
Asian Pears are one of my favorite fruits! They are quite large, apple shaped, and nearly the color of Bosc Pears. The flesh is firm and crisp, not mushy in the least. I've made a basket full of extra speckly ones ;-).
Exactly like the real thing! The big ones are expensive over here. 3 for 10 bucks. They are similar in taste with the smaller fragrant pears. But I don't like the green ones which taste like you have sawdust in your mouth.
