Kiva, I went to a fishing village on my trip to KL just 2 days back. It's stinky and filthy but omg, the seafood is just to die for! So fresh and delicious!! I saw some Tilapia lookalike but they are bigger and greyer and no way 1/2 as cute as yours :).
I finally bought an oven. After 1 year at a bargain price of S$19.00 cos I had a S$50 voucher-haha! It has a temperature gauge too! But I have no place for it. Do you really put an oven in your bedroom?
Hey Susan!! There is a certain kind of fish that they put in alot of dishes in Asian food, and I'm not sure what it is, but I abhor it! It has a strange flavor. Catfish?? I'm not sure, but I stop eating when I taste it :-/. The last time I tasted it was at a Thai restaurant a few weeks ago, but I've had it in Chinese restaurants too.
Oh Susan, I forgot!!! WOOHOO on the oven!!! Mine isn't in the bedroom, it's in the kitchen....along with my mom's massive collection of kitchen gadgets :-D!! Seriously, we have 4 or 5 convection ovens, alone. WTF!?
At ebay too and some at etsy...... Do you have a link to your auctions? I looked around but I could not find it.... Beleive me or not , I have not bought one single food item but is on my list... I am making a living room (room box)right now and when this is done a kitchen room box will be my next project.... I will then need to buy some goodies and yours are on top of my list!*grin*
They are fabulous fish Kiva....so real, but so cute at the same time!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda!! You know what? I can kind of see them swimming around in an aquarium, lol!!!!
