Needle-Felted art by Robin Joy Andreae
I adore needle felted sculpture, and Robin makes INCREDIBLE pieces!! I own some needle-felted pieces (mostly animals), but nowhere near this superb. Her work is genius. Just check it out:
I love needle felted sculptures, always loved felt. Back in college I used to make my own felt and now I have a few sheep, intending to make felt again, but haven't gotten round to it yet. Thanks for the link, her animals are wonderful!
Thanks Kiva for the post :-)! Synnove, they're not to scale. I don't think I could work that tiny. You all amaze me with your tiny creations. I found Kiva's site through Patricia from Woolydale's and was blown away by her work. The robin is 4 inches tall as was the little white mouse and the rat was 6 1/2 inches tall. I don't think I've worked much smaller than 2 inches.
Robin, you are one of the * best* needle felted artist that I know.... these last work of yours makes me miss felting ...grin...but I am very content where I! I am delighted to visit you and see YOUR gorgeous creations. The texudo mouse is of of this world! LOVE IT! Smiles~
Wow, thank you Robin!! and I agree with Patricia- your work is out of this world and totally jaw-dropping! You bring needle-felting to a whole new level!!!
Your sculptures are sooooooo beautiful and lifelike!!! Can you please tell me how to achieve the legs, feet and bills of your animals, im struggling with those so much.
Youre a real artist, i wish i would get half as good ever....i just started, made my 8th sculpture but love doig it.Hope you will share your secret with me. Marion
