Handmade, 1:12 scale miniature food and oddities from IGMA Fellow, Kiva Atkinson
They are both GREAT pieces.
ReplyDeleteIt does remind me of why I never wanted to be a painter. It's so darn messy.
OMG Kiva this is amazing! Thank you for sharing this! I love finding out about new artists!
ReplyDeleteThese pieces ARE wonderful but I have two friends who are painters. I mean that they do it as a full time job and neither of them is so messy. All the contrary, they are very tidy. i shall show them the tables, minihugs, Rosanna
ReplyDeleteSo amazing! Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI went and added him onto my list! What an amazing feature. Artists' studios are my fav subject matter for mini replica. I read the he visited 50 artists studios to make these table sculptures, each one a replica of the real studio . And Rosanna, he made neat ones too, not many though :).

Kiva, I saw a review of Joe's book and ran out and bought it. It is absolutely wonderful! I'm hoping to get to the exhibit now at Mass Art--my son is a senior at SMFA right next door.
