Some of my chunky rings

Here's a pic of some of my chunky rings, the ones I wear the most. This is a blog centered around miniatures, but I sometimes like to sneak in other things I like as well. Food....and collecting jewelry, especially big ass rings!!  I LOVE shoes, too (especially platforms and clogs), but rest assured, I won't post a pic of my shoes ;-).

  2. You and I can really share our stuff! Rings are my least worn accessories cos of work. When I do wear them however, they have to be huge and loud. I use to wear my mum's old rings, those she owned when she was in her 20s. Big fake rhinestone in screaming colours. Now I tend to go for those more unusual designs but yes, they still must be chunky.

Now shoes, they are my first love where accessories are concerned. I used to collect vintage handbags, 50s geometric designs, Moschino iconic handbags (I have the chocolate melting one) and Lulu Guinness girly bags. I stopped that when I went into miniatures and found a "better" way to spend my money. I still can't stop buying shoes though.

How high are your shoes? I wear 2.5" mostly so I can walk long distance but when I reach work, I switched to my 4" so I can tower over my colleagues. Platforms are the best. You don't fall so easily.

  6. I'm drooling too!! I don't wear rings on my fingers, but as pendants. Love the turquoise and the citrine. Do you wear them around your tiny wrist? ;-)

  7. Kiva,

I love your collection. I can't wear big wide rings, my fingers are always work swollen and look like sausages. I bet you have lovely long fingers.

  8. Thanks guys!! The bigger the better, yes :-D!!

Susan, although I own lots of flat shoes, like lace-up sandals and stuff, I always wear shoes with at LEAST a 2" height. I feel strange wearing anything lower, go figure. When I lived in S.F., I bought boots all the time, but now that I'm in Hawaii, I'm buying alot of platform sandals. But I ALWAYS buy clogs, no matter where I live! I LURV.....

  9. HAHA!!! Glenda!!! No!! I buy and collect sterling bangles made to order. If I bought ready made, they would slip off. It kind of sucks, because most of the chunky stuff I prefer is made for bigger sizes. GRRR...

Catherine, I do have skinny, long ass fingers. Like "ET" :-/. But they can swell, especially during that time of the month, lol!!!
