I'm on a new laptop!!

My other laptop, maybe all of one year old, was driving me apeshit!! We brought it in for servicing for the THIRD time, and mom surprised me with a brand spanking new one!! I've spent the last several hours (or more) installing all my apps and tweaking like a maniac, when it dawned on me that I haven't blogged in.....TOO LONG!!!! The reason why is because I have been in tunnel vision mode, making as much as possible, both due to commissions, and the fact that I won't be actively claying starting February 13, and I've got some friends in town. That's quite a stretch for me :-/. So, here are a couple seafoody things I've made recently (I would have more pics, but there on my other laptop!).

    What does it mean that you will not actively be doing clay making after Feb 13th?

    Tip about having long lived and smooth running computers. I always install a system utility software on my computers. It takes care of almost the bugs and conflicts that slow down and hang up computers. Try putting Iolo System Mechanic on your balky laptop and you will probably resurrect it. You can install that one software purchase on 3 of your computers.

    Alison, YES!! I need it!!! I'm usually not a big Valentine's Day person, but Lance has a surprise in the works ;-). I am dying to know what the hell it is!!

    Anonymous, I'm not quitting, just taking a break for about a week ;-). The laptop had to go in because it's hardware related, ie, my dvd drive was hosed. I have System Mechanic on three of our laptops, and I'm religious about pc maintenance. It's the damn hardware that gets screwed on that machine- the first to go was the motherboard!

    Sounds like that laptop should have come in lemon color so you would have known not to buy it!

    Yes, that would be nice, and thanks for the invitation. Maybe someday soon. We both love Asia, so, anything is possible. I know Kiva would love to visit you in your homeland. I have never been to Singapore, but I hear the food there is incredible!!

    Karin!!!! Long time no see :-D!!! And YES, if ever there were a lemon, I sure got it! If I am forced to bring that blasted thing in one more time, rules are, I get a new one (hopefully not another HP, ugh). I am on a new Toshiba now, and so far, so good!!
